Ukrainian-American pianist Marina Radiushina is described as a “virtuoso whose playing is distinguished by rare depth of interpretation and understanding of style” and a “pianist with enormous temperament and maturity.” In 2008 she made her Carnegie Hall début performing at the Weill Recital Hall.

She is a prizewinner of several international competitions, including the prestigious Vladimir Horowitz International Piano Competition, Virtuosi-2000 International Festival in Saint-Petersburg, Corpus Christi International Music Competition, Arthur Rubinstein International Competition and Bradshaw& Buono International Piano Competition. She has appeared to critical acclaim in various venues in Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland and the United States.

Marina has performed with some of the most important orchestras of Ukraine, including those of Kiev, Kharkov, Lviv, Lugansk and Odessa as well as orchestras in Miami and Cleveland. Her radio/television broadcasts include National Ukrainian Radio and TV, National Hungarian Radio and a classical radio station in Florida.

Marina is a recipient of numerous scholarships and awards including the Sadie Zellen Piano Prize at the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Presser Award at the University of Miami and the President of Ukraine.

Marina holds degrees from the Odessa State Conservatory of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music and a Doctoral degree from the University of Miami.

The Academy is a free  program of the Miami International Music Academy that accepts 7 pre-college gifted piano students and exposes them to a variety of masterclasses with international artists as well as musicianship classes.
