Conquest and Rebellion is a concert that shows the musical encounter of two continents at different times. The music of the Renaissance and Baroque marked the future and mixture of European sounds, including pre Hispanic indigenous sounds and black slaves. As a result generating some of the sounds that represent Latin America and European music today.

 

Award-winning countertenor Asael Cuesta, and mezzo-soprano Shanna Gundry, accompanied by maestro Gordon Roberts on the piano, will take the stage for an unforgettable concert.
