Nostalgia: a wistful affection for the past.  Orquesta Nostalgia is a 13 piece Mambo band that transports the audience to the era of dance, swing and showmanship of the Mambo era. By taking the special 50’s thru the 90’s modern music we have created a moment for the listeners and dancers.

 

Our founder/director Anselmo Vidal Jr. had a vision to bring the big band music in the styles of Tito Puente, Tito Rodriguez and Machito to South Florida. Orquesta Nostalgia preserves these traditional elements and creates a special moment in time. Junior, nickname, his legacy continues through us and lives on forever through the performances of Orquesta Nostalgia. This is the heart and soul of the band.
