A Tribute to the Life of Maestro José Antonio Abreu
Venezuela in Concert is a posthumous tribute that will be offered to Maestro José Antonio Abreu, father of "El Sistema" who died on March 24 of this year. The concert will feature Ensamble 7/4, Héctor Molina y Yaritzy Cabrera, the Choir and the Orchestra from Encantus Voices & Ensemble, with soloists Elizabeth Quintanales, soprano; Adriana Portales, alto; Carlos Silva & Roberto Ojeda, tenors, and Carlos Chialastri, bass; conducted by Maibel Troia & Tarcisio Barreto.

Ensamble 7/4 was born out of the friendship of 7 young people who wanted to cross the borders of academic music and immerse themselves in the wide world of traditional Venezuelan music, Latin American music and Jazz, always with the level of technical and artistic demand that were given in their academic training within El Sistema.

They have participated in the most important festivals and made concert tours through countries such as Germany, Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, USA, Italy and Venezuela; being artists of the Austrian brand SCHAGERL.

Recently Ensamble 7/4 was recognized at the Global Music Awards with two silver medals for its album "Welcome to America" ??in the categories "Best Instrumental Grouping" and "Best Performer" where Venezuelan artists such as Gustavo Dudamel, the composer Giancarlo Castro D'Addona, trumpeter Pacho Flores and guitarist Jesús González have also obtained this recognition in previous editions.

Héctor Molina, composer and founding member of the famous group C4 Trío, will show us the rhythmic benefits of the typical instrument of Venezuela, the cuatro, being his group one of the greatest ambassadors in the musical diffusion that are making their way in the international music scene.

Encantus Voices & Ensemble, is a choral and instrumental group that shows the excellent artistic quality of all its members. It is conformed by a select group of singers and instrumentalists of high level and great versatility who have the ability to perform all kinds of music and works ranging from the most complex repertoire of the last century to the Latin American and universal compositions of our days.
