Melodias de Dos Orillas (Melodies from Two Shores) is a concert with masterworks from Cuba and Spain. You will be immersed in a concert with the most well-known melodies from composers of Cuba and Spain, sung by Vienna Conservatory alumni, tenor Carlos Silva and Cuban soprano Raquel Rubi. Other melodies performed instrumentally by the Miami Chamber ‘Pops’ Players, with local talented musicians who include, German Marcano, cello; Hernan Matute, bass; Nicolas Real, flute; Adolfo Vidal, piano among others.
The concert includes lyric works by de Falla, Lecuona, Guerrero, classics like ‘No Puede Ser’ as well as instrumental delights like danzón ‘Ay Mamá, Te Vi Bailando’ and Danza Española by de Falla. Plus a few more surprises with popular songs of Andrea Bocelli.
