The concert includes a voyage of jazz and charanga music from Cuba and Latin America, and goes as far as France, with the interpretation of selections from the Claude Bolling’s Suite #2 for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio. The musicians for this occasion include Ernesto Fernandez in the flute; Adolfo Vidal, piano; Hernan Matute on the bass, and Reinier Guerra, drums.

 

A versatile musician skilled in both classical and Latin genres, Ernesto has performed in Italy, Mexico, Grand Cayman, Nicaragua, Toronto, Cleveland, New York, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, Chicago, Charlotte, and New Orleans. Vidal is a Venezuelan pianist with a doctorate degree in music from the University of Miami and piano studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Versatile musicians Hernan and Reinier have concertized in more than 30 different countries.
